Terms and condition

IMPORTANT NOTICE: When placing an order you have made an agreement that the terms and conditions below apply from the time that Teser Group ships and clears your purchase from the Port unless otherwise agreed in writing by an authorized staff member of Teser Group. 

1. Roll on Roll off (RORO) or Container 

When your order is loaded onto the ship via RORO or in a container it is ensured to function properly and should be free of mechanical deficiency.  

2. Inspection 

In the case of deliveries of orders, customers can select independent mechanics to inspect their purchase on their behalf before delivery.  

3. Shipment , Freight, Duty and Taxes 

Unless otherwise stated, prices of all cars listed on our website include Shipment, Freight, Duty and Taxes. 

Once payment is confirmed, Teser Group will proceed to book your unit(s) for shipping. Estimated departure and arrival times, as well as routes of ships, may change without notice. Teser Group will endeavor to communicate sincerely Timelines from shipping companies. It will therefore not be responsible for any delay in shipping the unit purchased. But we always help you to resolve any problem that falls within our control.  

4. Warranty

Teser Group warrants that the vehicle described will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance for a period of 36 months or 100,000, whichever comes first for the Engine , and 18 months or 100,000 km, whichever comes first for the Drivetrain and transmission components from the date of delivery to the Customer.  

5. Time Limit for Claims  

All claims must be submitted immediately on notice. Tardy claims will not be considered.  
Claims on parts of cars that have been tampered with or repaired by mechanics without prior authorization of Teser Group will not be considered.  

6. Internet  

Teser Group is not liable for loss or damage that might occur as a result of the delay, interruption or suspension of internet services which it depends on to engage in the sale of units.   

7.  Loss or Damage During Shipment 

Teser Group is responsible or liable for damage, theft or loss of items or parts during transportation to the port of destination.  

8.  Other Services  

Teser Group may aid customers in the registration of their cars upon the payment of the required fees.  

9. Invoices and Payments  

Payments for Teser Group on invoices issued by Teser Group must be made by Telegraphic Transfer (TT) to the Ghanaian bank account or Mobile Money account printed on the face of the said invoice. In order to avoid fraud, the customer must verify the account number by contacting their designated Teser Group sales manager.  

10. Part Payment and Due Balances 

Outstanding balances must be paid within 3 calendar days after the vehicle is cleared at the port of destination. Failure to complete the balances if any payment has been made entitles Teser Group to resell the unit(s) without prior notice. In the case of illness, demise or inability to complete the balance of due payment, the above does not apply to customers with a referral contact person who completes the balance. However, the alternate person must provide proof of the extenuating circumstances. Teser Group reserves the right to withhold original copies of the B/L or other documents until the final payments have been confirmed in our account.   

11. Governing Law  

Any dispute concerning the Terms and Conditions fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and laws of the government of Ghana and the customer agrees to submit to this jurisdiction.  

12. Indemnity 

The customer agrees to indemnify Teser Group from any claim or action that may arise as a result of the customer making other agreements based on the transaction between Teser Group and the customer.  

13. Validity of Agreement   

This agreement is valid until the completion of the balance of the negotiated price and delivery or pick-up form signed.  

14. Amendment 

Upon notification to the customer, Teser Group may amend these terms and conditions should the need arise and the customer shall remain bound by the revised terms and conditions if a revision takes place.
